BENEFITS
- Generates greater airflow. Doesn’t loose performance in ducting
applications.
- One of the most powerful fans of its type on the market, tested
with 12 mtrs of flexible duct extracts 500m3/hr, using
a shorter duct run extraction exceeds 650m3/hr. Utilising a short duct run also allows
you to operate multiple internal vents with the one (1) fan motor. Example one
(1) Hi-flow exhaust fan operating the bathroom exhaust vent and the laundry
exhaust vent.
- The flexibility of the Hi-flow exhaust fan allows you to use either
150mm flexible duct or 100mm PVC sewer pipe. Having the fan
motor externally mounted also reduces noise.

Housing
Base, windband and weather cap to be manufactured from thermo formed UV stabilised polymer. Impeller motor assembly to be supported by a galvanised chassis for stability and ease of service. Bird mesh to be standard.
Impellers
High efficiency backward curved centrifugal impellers to be manufactured in aluminium or high impact polymer material. The rotor / impeller assembly is to be balanced as a complete assembly to ISO1940 grade G6.3 or better.
Motors
Motors are to be manufactured by Ziehl-ebm and to be of external rotor design. Motor enclosure to feature IP54 protection/IP44 Protection for Exe. Motor windings are to incorporate class ‘F’ insulation. Motor bearings are to be of maintenance free ball bearing design. Auto-reset thermal contacts are to be provided ( integrally wired or teminated at wiring connection bar).
Testing
Rated fan performance has been determined by testing to DIN24163 1998. Fan sound data has been determined by testing to DIN 45635.

Specifications
Housing
The housing of the CE Ceiling Mounted Centrifugal units are of ABS plastic, with standard duct connections included to suit flexible ductwork.
Impellers
Ziehl-ebm centrifugal forward curve(SFJ model) and centrifugal backward curve (CE, SBD, MON, MOB model) impellers are manufactured from plastic or aluminium for low rotational weight. The rotor / impeller assembly is balanced as a complete assembly to ISO1940 Grade 6.3 or higher.
Motors
Motors are manufactured by Ziehl-ebm and are of external rotor design. Motor enclosure features IP54 protection. Motor windings incorporate class ‘B’ insulation. Motor bearings are maintenance free ball bearing design. Auto-reset thermal contacts are generally provided, either integrally wired or terminated at wiring connection bar.
Testing
Rated fan performance has been determined by testing to DIN24163 1998. Fan sound data has been determined by testing to DIN 45635

Housings of the Inline Centrifugal units are of galvanised steel, with standard connections included to suit
either flexible duct or galvanised steel ductwork.

mass. The motor / impeller assembly is balanced as a complete assembly to ISO1940 grade G6.3 or better.

IP54 & IP44 (for exe) protection. Motor windings are to incorporate class ‘B’ or ‘F’ insulation as standard

thermal contacts are provided in the larger units. These are either integrally wired or terminated at wiring
connection bar.
Testing
Rated Fan performance has been determined by testing to BS848 Pt1 (1998) and DIN24163 1998.
Fan sound data has been determined by testing to AMCA 300 or DIN 45635.
